On July 3, 2021, the exhibition “From Genesis to Apocalypse”, with 38 meteorites, was inaugurated at the Rio Planetarium. Among the items from the collection of the Museu Nacional/UFRJ that helped compose the exhibition, a highlight was the Santa Luzia meteorite, the second largest ever found in Brazil.

The Museu Nacional/UFRJ participated in the 34th São Paulo Arts Biennial, which began on September 5th, with three very special pieces: the Santa Luzia meteorite, a citrine and a ritxòkò doll. The company VALE, one of the platinum sponsors of the Project Museu Nacional Vive, also sponsored the Biennale. Know more HERE
